CHI-Together | A Socially-Safe Entertainment Experience!
CHI-Together - a socially-safe entertainment experience was created by Tionna Van Gundy the owner Fueled Events & Wedicity - Wedding Day Detailing.
In owning event brands that were highly impacted by the effects of COVID-19 on the hospitality industry, Tionna felt compelled to “figure it out.” She had to come up with a way for her small business to survive in a time of enormous uncertainty. Instead of focusing on what wasn't allowed and what couldn’t be done (which felt like any and everything) - she focused her attention on what WAS allowed and COULD be done. That is when the drive-in entertainment idea emerged and became her next endeavor. Tionna, like many Chicagoans, crave the outdoors and “Summertime CHI” experiences. This carpool/drive-in concept allows for that same event experience in a socially-safe and distant manner that both protects and uplifts our community! Tionna has an infinity for this city that has become her home over the last 10 years and she wants us ALL to thrive in this change and to come together!
Part of being an events and hospitality professional has been tough the last few months as Tionna watched extremely talented and dedicated professionals from front-line staff to mid-management to c-suite executives being laid off and out of work. Her thoughts were if this concept becomes a reality, she can help put some of these hard working people back to work and help the small business economy shift in a positive direction. In that moment, It then became more than just saving her company, but a bigger look at the events community and how to help the industry pivot. If CHI-Together can help one more person pay their rent or put food on the table for their family, she feels good about this venture and that she has made a positive impact!

CHI-Together is more than just entertainment. At its core, its about bringing back that sense of togetherness, the Summertime-CHI vibe, getting people back to work, and shifting the live events industry and how we look at events - all while being socially-safe!
To further help the community we have partnered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to assist them in the growing demand for meals all across our community. A portion of every ticket sale with benefit the GCFD in addition to a nightly canned-food drive upon event entry!
